Inward Resources

The question of our own identity festers beneath the surface, poking us, prodding us, begging us to discover the core of who we are. "Let your life speak" is the imperative title of a book by Parker Palmer, a call for us to cast aside all of the junk that buries the core truth of our being. This is a crucial journey as we sift through the expectations and assumptions that people place upon us and we willingly accept. Let your life speak.

As a church this is one of the great journey's each and every one of us must undertake: the inward journey of self-awareness and self-knowledge. It was John Calvin who once said, "Know thyself, know God." And in that journey of self-knowledge we see more clearly the God who crafted and created us into a beautiful being.

We want to provide you with a list of resources to check out and peruse in this inward journey of self-discovery and understanding. Enjoy, share, and study on!
