This is the second Sunday of advent, and with it comes the theme: Love. Echoing the apostle John, the social critic, poet, philosopher and theologian Søren Kierkegaard wrote "God is love. He is love - not he was love, nor he will be love, oh no, even that future is too slow for me - he is love" (emphasis added). This is one of the reasons we use as our public web address. We want to be reminded of this now and always: that God is love. This advent season we are reminded that Love came to put on flesh in the person of Jesus that we may experience love in its truest and purest.

This Sunday morning at 11:00a, we'll gather together to celebrate with a "love feast" (aka brunch). As a new, budding church here in Seattle, we are progressing towards a regular gathering space, place, and time. Invite friends and family to come along with you, share a meal, and press forward in creating this new church for Seattle!
